The API Key is used for the automatic authentication of API requests. This API key can be generated in the OriginStamp Dashboard (opens new window). The API Key must be added to the Authorization header of a request.

A hash function is any function that can be used to map data of arbitrary size onto data of a fixed size. In the world of OriginStamp hash is also used as a synonym for the SHA-256 in HEX representation of a digital content.
