Getting Started

The walkthrough shows you how to start creating tamper-proof timestamps. For this, you need an account at OriginStamp. If you already have one, you can skip the following steps and move onwards to timestamp creation.

Registration

The process of registration is kept simple and includes the following steps:

Create a new OriginStamp account

Please solve the Google Recaptcha to create an account. It prevents abuse of our service. This must be solved before registration, otherwise no account can be created.

Account Activation

After account creation, you will receive an activation mail. Please check your mailbox for a mail from [email protected] and confirm the registration by clicking on the activation link. If you don't receive a mail within a few minutes, please check your spam or junk folder.

If you haven't received a mail, send us a support request and we'll help you.

Password specifications:

  • minimum 6 characters
  • a number
  • at least 1 uppercase letter
  • at least 1 lowercase letter

After account activation, you can sign in into your account. Please use your recently created account credentials. If you don't remember your credentials, you can reset your password. You will receive a mail with instructions for changing your password.

Sign in to your OriginStamp account

Create your first timestamp

Once you have successfully logged in, only a few clicks remain until your first blockchain timestamp. Navigate from the overview page to the timestamp page.

Create a timestamp

Create your first timestamp by dragging and dropping a file into the orange area. Alternatively, you can click into this area, to open the file selector.

The final step is to confirm the creation by clicking on the "Timestamp Files" button.

Congratulations! You submitted your first file to create a tamper-proof timestamp. Your hash will be processed within the next few hours and submitted to different blockchains, which increases the security of your confidential data.
